Savva is one and a half years old. He was born with a severe congenital heart disease – hypoplastic left heart syndrome, a birth defect that affects normal blood flow through the heart. As the baby develops during pregnancy, the left side of the heart does not form correctly.
Savva had his first two surgeries in Germany and successfully had his third surgery at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
