Coming to the U.S. for Life-Saving Surgery

Eight-year-old Salim from Baku, Azerbaijan, born with a congenital heart defect, will have life-saving surgery in the beginning of September. Dr. Sean Levchuk has agreed to perform the procedure at St. Francis Hospital in Roslyn.

Seymour Henseli, who had surgery at St. Francis in 1999, assisted LHI in identifying Salim and obtaining and forwarding the necessary information to St. Francis.
